Nice to see Moss get it going

If it wasn't for him Iowa would have been down at halftime. He played great. He also got a lot of mins. I think he played the most other then JBo. I don't think that's a surprise. Fran would love for him to play well and gain confidence in his game going into the off season. I think he's just such an X factor for not only the team now but going forward. Having an athletic 2 guard that can shoot and push the ball in transition is huge. Good for him last night I'm glad he had a good game.

It was great seeing him play well. He can create his own shot and take it to the hoop. With him JBo and Cook next year other teams will have to pick their poison.

If you ask me about any player on Iowa's team right now, he has the most upside...and I'm including Cook. He's big, athletic, and can shoot it. He's just young and it's his first time playing against this level of competition. If you ask me, this guy can be a 20 point scorer and become impossible to defend because he can take it to the hole and finish really, really well. I think he is going to make a huge leap with another off season, honing skills, and getting stronger. His handle has really improved over the course of the year...he just needs to make better decisions at times...but even that has really improved. Future is really bright for Moss.

When all is said and done I think he could be a better player than Jok. Jok will always be the better pure shooter but in my opinion, Moss is already better off the bounce, especially in transition and I've always thought he does a pretty good job on Defense as well.

I hope he continues to work on his attacking/driving ability in the half court as well as develop that outside shot and he'll be a damn tough guard for opposing teams.

Hey's played better as frosh than Jok did as a soph IMO - logged more minutes and had a bigger roll a year ahead of schedule. Redshirting was great for him and I think he definitely has the same kind of upside that Jok has/had and he's a lot and I mean a lot better D player when he's not lost and I contribute that to maturity. If you re-call - he looked really good against Indiana too. I think he had a dip once conference play started, and he started to get down on himself, feel sorry for himself and I think Fran and the staff pushed him and it didn't go swimmingly at first, but is paying off down the stretch. This coaching staff knows how to manage and push buttons... they have Moss (and a lot of this team) playing their best ball at the right time.

missing the NCAA sucks - but it's all part of the journey, it's all what's gonna make em hungry next season - to work harder in the off season. It's not great to make the NIT - but it can certainly pay off long term

Moss is the most important player next year IMO. If he becomes a 12PPG guy who can drive it, we are in really good shape.
