Yeah, and of course he had nothing to do with that fact did he? You do realize that our win over Dayton was the first postseason win in any tournament since 2003. That gave Stevie a bunch of years during which he accomplished nothing tournament-wise. Good riddance. He is the perfect example of the Peter Principle and we were the victims.

Alford will never be forgiven for what he done here at Iowa. He was an arrogant POS. He blamed the fans, his players, the media, the football team for his failures. He done more damage to the Hawkeyes as a head coach than he ever did as a player.
