Nice article. Don't know why in particular but he seems like a good fit for Iowa in the same sense Kirk was. If he is a decent guy which he seems to be, Iowa City will embrace him. Any offense and defensive tempo dial up will be a big start in making this team watchable once again...looking forward to the press conference to get a better sense of his personality.

Trying to redeem myself to all those that thought I was "negative Nancy"...

I support this coach because he is a Hawkeye! If he assembles a staff that can recruit with the best of the Big Ten, we have a bright future with him. Just his style of play gets me excited...and his wife too!!
