It's crazy to think that I'm about to play my last home game as a Hawkeye. These past five years have certainly flown by. We've had a few disappointing losses this season, but make no mistake, I'm going to give Kinnick a proper send off this Saturday. My home state Buckeyes are in town, and I couldnt' dream up a better Senior Day scenario. Stay positive, Hawks! I'LL BLEED BLACK AND YELLOW TIL DEATH!

DJK is a stud. Can't wait for Saturday to send these seniors out with a W.
 


It's just as crazy to me that he's almost done here. It's just become a sight that I can't imagine I won't ever see again. There's been a few players before that I REALLY felt that way about in the Senior Days I've actually gotten to see live (Drew Tate, Albert Young, King/Kroul, Angerer, Edds), but this year there are a lot. Stanzi under center (seriously, #12 isn't going to be there next year?), DJK out wide (I can still remember all the big plays he's made in Kinnick), Greenwood, and of course AC and Ballard (just seems like they've both been there forever).

I've loved watching all of these guys play. They've made my first three years here at UI really special, and it leaves a sick feeling in my stomach to think that soon, they'll be gone.
 


I am thankful we have had DJK for the past four years, I would love to see him and the other seniors have a great game to close out their careers at Kinnick.
 


DJK has stepped up big time this season. His loss will be felt next year. I hope he has a great game this Saturday and as long as he doesn't get drafted by the Vikings, I'll be a fan of his for a long time.

He is the model for how to step from a JR to a SR. That's not to downplay what he did last year. Just a big time performer in his last go around. I hope McNutt & Davis are paying attention.

Not to mention the step up he's taken in maturity as well. He's much more of a leader now than he's ever been.
 


Well it's good to hear, I hope they can turn it on this weekend. But right now that's like putting a rose petal on a cow pie.

DJK had a great game Saturday. In fact he's played out of his mind all year long. I only wish KOK was as good at what he did as is DJK. And yeah...it may be a little nit-picky...but it's black and gold, not black and yellow.
 


Outstanding player for Iowa these past 4 years, and a very upstanding young man to boot. I really hope he gets a W for his final game as a player at Kinnick.
