Great to hear Jermelle Lewis is doing well. He had speed, power, moves, and built low to the ground to deliver blows. The shovel pass he took in '02 at Michigan when he just leveled their DB/LBker was awesome.

Too bad he had the knee injury(ies) because he had the makings of a very good pro.

Tate will probably always be my favorite hawkeye... and im sure im in the minority for saying that.

i say unbelievable desire to win and ultimate competitor.

Tate was a great competitor and a very good QB. I liked him and I sort of understand his frustration, especiallly his senior year. He had a lot of dropped passes and other completions that were fumbled away.

I think he was also frustrated at being a little more reined in by offensive play calling his jr and senior seasons.

Is it possible to watch these games? I watched the bowl, but missed basically every game during the season because it was my first semester of college. College football wasn't on my mind Saturday mornings (or evenings for that matter)

Talk about a trying season. From Carl Jackson's wife's heart attack, to Brian Ferentz's staph infection, to the death of Norm Parker's son and Kirk's dad, a lot of emotion throughout that season. On top of that, it seemed like nobody could stay healthy. Talk about playing with heart. Loved it!
