Are you serious or did I miss something? "lifetime contract" / destination job?

Can't say enough about the coaching staff and their commitment to building a winning program, recruiting great talent and staying put with the carrot dangling? This guy outlines the fact that being an Iowa football coach could have been a stepping stone and is now a destination job with huge money and commitment by the UofI (and Hawk fans) to keep it there. Our staff is mostly intact from 2000 on, can't say that about many top 20 programs.
 
never made it to a rose bowl? i remember KF having a rose in his hand after a certain Minnesota game a few years back......the powers that be and luck of the rotation put him in the Orange twice. besides, the rose is not the traditional b10 game like it once was.
 
Nice little bit of pub for us, and the news itself was great. But it didn't really get in-depth or anything. Not really an "article", but a good plug for us.
 
There's something odd about that announcement; I just can't quite put my finger on it.
