Nice article about yesterday's best player, Cully

Cully does remind me of Drew Neitzel of MSU...first year Neitzel, who averaged like 40pts a game, struggled with his shooting also. Neitzel was a shooting guard in HS,but came into MSU as a pg,and really was more of a combo his whole career at MSU,with Walton as the pg. I see Cully somewhat similarly...while he can play pg ok, I think he could also operate well as an off-guard for stretches, with a quick penetrating pg that could free him up as a spot shooter. I really have always liked Cullys mechanics on his jumper, and have never worred much about his free throw shooting or jump shooting percentage this year...frosh rarely come in and shoot well, specially as pgs.

I think if we added another quick pg to the mix next year, cully could play both positions and be a double digit scorer for Iowa over his career. Nice game young man!
