NFL Draft Look Ahead

In the NFL draft, production doesn't always (you might even say it doesn't even USUALLY) trump potential. Every year there are examples of that.

This, some of you may have heard of Jimmy Graham who played one year caught 17 passes for just over 200 yards and 5 TDs, yet he was drafted in the 3rd round based off of potential. CJF easily falls into the "potential" category.

No he didn't, he finished 3rd on the team.

CJF is the most overrated player in the history of Iowa football, and it's not even close.

Strictly from a fan perspective created from "coach speak", then I would agree.

But I remember when people comparing Nico Law to Bob Sanders. That seems a bit over the top.

CJ Fed, had issues of effort in his early career here, he even said that. This past season he was a victim of the coaching staff not using him in space, e.i. Tony Moeaki style. Given he did drop two very, very important passes to keep a drive alive against ISU and another one again someone else.

NFL Draft 2013: Micah Hyde scouting report - Big Cat Country

From article:

Hyde's biggest strength is going to be his versatility in the defensive backfield. He's not limited to just one side of the field as a corner, having played both sides for the Hawkeyes. He's also played quite a bit inside as the nickel corner in press coverage and has filled in and cross-trained at the free safety position. A lot of teams now look for defensive backs who can do multiple things and Hyde seems to fit that mold.

Awe thats sweet scorpio n rheot bomb have a love hate relationship. Love each others comments n hate the hawkeyez. Maybe u can console each other through every hawkeye win this year

Sposedly big hit on hyde is his speed, cant remember which game he caught guy 60 yards down field, maybe northwestern? Dont remember but guy was sposed to be a burner & hyde ran him down
