Next Sunday morning we will be complaining about poor clock management, why aren't our best players ( Goodson) playing more. We will be asking why we cant adjust in game, (Blitzes cause PSU will be bringing it). Been doing this for many many years.
Its possible but the Hawks have risen to the occasion of a night game before... i also see Wisky having 2 conferences losses...next week is big for sure..
Don't do drugs lol. Kidding, seriously anything is possible, but PSU had 10 sacks yesterday and could have had more, and they don't need to blitz to get pressure. 7th ranked run defense, and one of the best defensive lines in football. They have a qb that can run and throw, and athletes all over the field. Clifford runs a 4.5 forty so our lack of pressure on the qb might be a good thing. Nate is probably already shitting his pants.
Im a little skeptical of Penn st opponents so far this year... dominating wins over Maryland and Purdue dont so it for me.. Boilers are banged up at key positions and Maryland... huh... the Terps lost to Temple who in turn lost to Buffalo... Hawks will be there best opponent to date so it will be interesting to see how they react to not only the Hawks but the atmosphere...

I agree. The sky is not falling like so many predictably scream after a loss. Despite the ugliest offensive performance in memory the Hawks still had a shot to pull it out AT Michigan. Oh sorry, I forgot Michigan really sucks though with their THIRTY-EIGHT or whatever 4 and 5 star recruits. The Hawks WILL beat Pedo State and I will enjoy that very much.
where is the Minny vs Nebby game played at?
the game is at Minny so yes I want Minny to win so Nebby doesnt get a road win. if Iowa's defense is healthy they can take care of Minny in Kinnick

Penn St game will be quite telling in terms of does this team have it in them or not to beat a quality opponent from the East. This is a spot....all factors considered where Iowa usually does well. But have another offensive performance like they did yesterday will be another sad Sunday morning. Defense also better be prepared for more downfield attacking...their big weakness this year.

PSU could be the 'team we beat, but weren't supposed to' game, if you don't count ISU. Otherwise I agree that we won't beat PSU. Offense and defense are gonna have to put it together. We coul still go 8-4, I suppose. But let's play one game at a time.
I just don't get this at all. He's a very good (not great) college QB that will be drafted in 2nd or 3rd round.

This isn’t unreasonable. Michigan states defense is capable and can stop Taylor. I can’t see coan scoring enough to even beat Michigan state through the air. MSU did an okay job on JK dobbins who is no slouch. Ohio state, just has too many weapons downfield.

This offense isn’t what we thought it was. It’s an outback bowl offense, paired with a rose bowl defense. However last Saturday was definitely rock bottom. They will improve. Stanley generally has one horrible game per year. (Wisconsin 2017, penn state 2018) Stanley will never be CJB or stanzi, he’s not a big game guy, but he’ll be much better at home as an underdog.
I like your thinking but probably less than a 10% chance to parlay all three. It's going to be an interesting Saturday of football.
