Was watching a YouTube replay of the 1986 game vs Iowa State, a game I attended in person during my student years.
You know who was on the field at halftime? David Lee Roth. Yes, that Dave. He did some stuff with the band, did some gymnastics, may have twirled the baton a little bit.
You know what? I had completely, completely forgotten about this. After all these years. But even from the student section and deep into the bota it was definitely Roth.
Was anyone else there that day and recall this? If you were you're probably well into your forties or fifties by now!
