The coaching staff must be high on these recruits or they would not be going right after them and getting them in June. Early on in the recruiting process coaches go after their "A" list, later on in the fall they start looking at their B list.

Iowa has an impressive list of commits so far and it is only June.
 
Rob Howe has now also said that Allen isn't a commit just yet:

Yeah, i've read some updates. Seems there is something more in play here than just the fact that he couldn't reach the coaches. I'm wondering if Iowa is holding out for some others higher on their board.
