It's time to take it to the next level. It's time to expand Iowa's recruiting territory. Yes, it's time for Kirk and staff to head to Japan and recruit some sumo wrestlers. Imagine a Hawkeye offensive line of sumos...from 300 to 500 pounds each. You think the Badgers were big last year.. Iowa's O-line could just stand there. By the time defenders could get around them, it'd be the third quarter.
Forget Doyle. If you want big, let's get BIG. Forget the puny Polynesians of BYU and USC. The Hawkeye need to go sumo.
Of course, there is a down side: Gary and Eddie (get well soon) would have a heckuva time with those names. But even that would add to the entertainment value of Iowa football broadcasts. It's sumo time...
