Iowa is a developmental program, give Doyle 3 years with him and he'll be running a 4.6 40 time and 2 torn ACL's.

I know recruiting has fallen off at Iowa recently but let's give the kid a chance. In the past, we have found a lot of hidden gems. I am still trusting Kirk and this staff can identify and develop talent (but trust me, that confidence has taken a major hit the past two seasons) ... The Iowa staff saw something in him ... Hopefully he fits into whatever it is we are trying to do on offense

Let's give the kid a chance...we have alllll the time in the world to give 2 star allll the time they need!! No urgency....just like playing for OT with 2 minutes and 3 TO's!!! Yes, give him time and give Cirk another raise!
I don't think anyone is bashing this kid, but let's be honest this is the type of recruit that if Iowa wants to turn around the program he should be a walk on. If recruiting is going to continue to result in this type of fallback level Iowa is going to continue to struggle.

From his tape, this kid looks like a classic player type that will splash early, have 4 fumbles in his next 35 carries, then go off against NW, after being in Kirk Ferentz doghouse for his fumbling problems, and become the subject of "I told you so's" from the know-it-all's, back in 2013.

Akrum Wadley was averaging 10 yards per carry, went for 120 yards in about 2 quarters of work, for the Top 10 ranked, IOWA HAWKEYES.

There was a certain poster who has been banned (*cough*Iowalaw*cough*) that told us all offseason we couldn't compete with kids from Iowa and 2* kids. He told us that players like Myers, Ike, Vandeberg, Hillyer, Canzeri, Wadley, Bazata, Meier, Hesse, Jewell, Fisher, Neiman. All of these players according to him were and are not B1G quality players.......dopes are dopes are dopes is my point here.
