According to tweets from Brommelkamp and the 247 guys Robinette is visiting this weekend. He is a soft verbal to North Carolina but after their coaching changes he is looking around. He is a pro-style QB. He wants to go to med school and with the combo of our offense, our med school and coaching stability, Iowa is looking pretty good. Rivals has him at a solid 5.5 rating which is 3 stars. 247 has him at an 87 which is still three stars but closer to 4.

He got a 36 on his ACT?? WOW.

When you get a scholly offer from Harvard, you're pretty damn smart. Another thing interesting is he's from Tennessee. I'm not sure the last time we got a recruit from one of the traditional "southern" states (Florida and Texas don't count).

He is like a surgeon on the field with his precise passing and delicate touch on the football. He will diagnose our offensive woes with a prescription of touchdown passes. The x-rays were positive with this kid. All he does is take apart defenses like cadavers on the table in the medical school building.

He's also got offers from Stanford and Northwestern. So if he's serious about football/med school they could offer some competition.

Good buddy of mine from law school is pretty plugged into the UNC athletic department. I talked to him about the kid when I heard a few days ago, Northwestern and Stanford were on him pretty early but prior to the UNC commitment it was between Vandy and UNC. According to the stories I've read, UNC convinced him he needed to play in a pro-style offense. That bodes well for us given the fact Stanford is a non-issue.

Rashad Dunn was from Georgia
Eric McCollum was from South Carolina
Lance Tillison was kind of from Louisiana

He may be just what the doctor ordered...

I don't know what's more suprising...this offer, or the fact someone from Tennessee got a 36 on the ACT.

I see he's from Maryville, TN. About an hour ago my sis thought she was calling Maryville, MO but got the TN one instead. Weird, huh? Maybe it's a sign.

My wife has family in Tennessee and everytime we go down to visit I swear you lose 10 IQ just by crossing the border.

I bet he goes to Vanderbilt, their new coach is cleaning up on the recruiting trail. Vanderbilt got a four star that had Iowa as his favorite for months
