Van Coleman was on 1700 the champ in Des Moines today talking about some prospects Iowa is in on for next year. One of them is PG Blake Nash who's playing juco ball in north dakota. He would have 3 years left if we could get him.

Looks promising. Reading up on this kid, it looks like he moved to California from Arizona, and was forced to miss his senior year of basketball, then went to a JUCO, redshirted his first year to work on academics, carried a 3.0, played his sophomore season, and will have three years of eligibility where ever he lands.

Has some BCS conference offers.

Did Coleman talk about his game? He has him ranked as the 23rd best JUCO prospect in 2011.

Creighton, Georgetown, West Virginia, Iowa State, Nebraska, Miami and Utah.

From Rivals: "I want to play in the Big East. It's a big conference and you play the best competition every night," he said.

"Right now, I'd say Creighton is recruiting me the hardest. West Virginia has started talking to me a lot and Georgetown has shown interest too. I'm from the West, but I'd like to play in the East," Nash said.
 
not saying we have a chance at all matt. Just what Van said. I just like to see that Fran is involved with all these guys. Hopefully we'll get an impact guy signed this spring.

Well you better talk to him again Matt because he talking ot the wrong teams.
 
I love how Fran recruits. He must have called every juco in the nation by now looking for players.
