1 NCAA Tournament win in 8 years is why he left town...ahead of Barta and the posse. He didn't take us to the "next level" that was promised.
He's gone...and I'm still glad. As for the Lobos in the tourney, all I have to say is "Go Grizzlies!".

I honestly don't understand all of the hate towards Alford. He did a great job this year in a very tough conference, and his team deserves everything they have coming to them.
