New Helmet Sticker on Back of Helmet

Anyone know the story on the new helmet sticker Iowa was wearing last Saturday?

It was someone's name but I couldn't make it out. Don't know the story but I'm guessing it has something to do with Kirk being emotional after the Michigan game and some other games this year.

No, it was a small black sticker with a name on it that began with the letter M.

There is something going on "off the field" with this team.

I noticed it, too, and wondered the same thing. Definitely a name that started with M, but I have no other info on it. Mostly I'm just backing you up Jeebus so you know you weren't seeing things. It was a small decal on the lower right side of the back of the helmet.

The font looks a little too big to spell Marvin. It looks like a 4-letter name.

I saw one up close, and it did say Marvin. Strange thing was it was a close up of Marvin McNutt's helmet!

Just heard back from a relative I have in the Athletic Dept., he thinks there may have been a team doctor or medical psychologist pass away.
