I loved that he wants to be a Hawk right now. That said there is a LOOOOONG time until signing day in Feb of 2019.

Would love to see Waggoner and Duggan come aboard....though I think Waggoner is more likely than Duggan

With Kirk being the Dean of FBS it makes sense for that accomplishment to be reflected with an uptick in recruiting. Lots of room still in the 18 class. I'm anticipating some top-flight recruits jumping on board in the coming months.

Kirk puts offensive linemen and tight ends into the NFL so unless there's word of his sudden retirement, I'd look for these guys to stick with their commitments.

Now if they were running backs or receivers, that might be a different story.

I though this quote from his coach was noteworthy.

“I thought Logan did a great job of giving due diligence to all of the schools who expressed an interest in him and Iowa was adamant about him going out and seeing other places before reaching a decision. They were that confident in what they had to offer him,’’ Filler said.

It gives a little perspective to the "no visits after you commit" approach of KFz. If they tell a kid to "explore all your options...be sure before you commit" ... it's reasonable to ask them to stop with the visits once they do. Visiting after you "commit" means one of two things a) you're really not committed or b) you're just jobbing the system for free trips...which really isn't fair to the other teams or recruits.

Agreed. It seems like it's usually the "skill" position players who de-commit when it comes to Iowa.
