New Depth Chart

Way more interesting to try and interpret the shadow pattern in the image. While it looks like a guy holding a cell phone to take a picture in bad light, there are other interpretations that must be considered and possibly investigated. The shapes and the forms of the shadows can lead to many conclusions.

Which DE spot is Epenesa taking? Hesse? Kinda tough to see a 2 yr starter get benched for a true frosh like that but we just might. Anthony Nelson if he puts on 10-15 more lbs this off season will be great so I find keeping him off the field will be tough to do. Eppy is just a man child. He might not start day 1 but I bet he plays more snaps all year long.

Nice to see Kulick's injury wasn't worse than it was apparently. The guy's a warrior.

Thought they would move the Nelsons to both ends,Hesse to small.
I expect we will see a rotation. Hesse was starter this year, but he wasn't on the field much more than the Nelsons. Add in Happy Epenesa, and I bet we rotate at least those 4, with at least three of them in on passing downs.

Interesting to see A Nelson officially beating out M Nelson at DE. It'd be great to see AJ stepping in right away and getting a legitimate 4-man rotation on the outside.

DMX Sighting! Wonder if his demotion is partially due to his rumored injury midseason, or if Toks is really that good.

Hope to see some more receivers step in the spring, the disappearances of J Parker and R Boyle have me worried they're forever going to be buried on the depth chart.

Also worried about Mends getting beat out by Jones. Is our defensive scheme really that hard for him to grasp, or is he in the doghouse for something?

Maybe Jones is just better. It is possible for a good player to be passed up by a younger/better player. Why is it that when someone drops on the 2 deeps it is either the system's fault or the player is in the doghouse?

This is a very solid line up. Another good sign is that Michael Ojemudia is stepping up to the #1 spot. He is a very talented player. Him and Manny will be shutting down a lot of passing games.

I mean, Mends was leading Bower for the WLB position for a good chunk of camp, and then once he loses the battle, just falls off the face of the earth. In any case, I was just speculating is all.

It's just easier to leave him in that 3rd spot, no need to use the eraser.

Here's what we know, if we can stop the run some how on early downs, we should be able to put a ridiculous 4 man front out there on passing downs, whether its sliding one of the nelsons or hesse inside and brining in AJ on the end. Kinda like when clayborn would switch inside on pass rushing downs his junior season (or was it senior, confusing myself). AJ, Hessen Nelson and Nelson on passing downs would be an interesting front four.

Don't sleep on Sam Brincks, I got this thought he might be a name to reckon with next year in that front line as well. Athletic big man, got some sneak to him.
