NEW COMMIT 4/27

Love that offer list via scout. Boise State, Arizona and us. Must be something sneaky about him for a 210 lbs. linebacker.

Is this truly a sign of the times in term of recruits wanting to commit early or are we reaping the benefits of a younger staff and a dedicated recruiting coordinator?

Probably a little bit of both. There are some programs that haven't even gotten a single committment yet so it can't completely be due to a sign of the times.

Really? What kind of weak *** loser program wouldn't even have a single recruit yet???

They had a good thread over there a few days ago discussing their lack of commits. Most of them think the reason they haven't gotten any yet is because Whoads is offering higher ranked kids and not settling with fallback kids. If they continue that direction they may have two recruits by February.

A thread about a new Iowa commit turns into (on the first page) turns into a thread about ISU. Are we 100% sure ISU is the little brother? It appears that message board fans are fickle (crazy, I know).

Either way, Iowa is certainly putting together a nice class. I am concerned about the lack of commits right now, but I don't have the knowledge that the staff does. I won't be too worried until if be the end of May there aren't any commits.

My point is that last year Iowa had 1 commit prior to June 20th. The class turned out pretty well, so why is ISUnot having 1 yet a big issue. You make it seem like last year wa a different recruiting phenomenon than last year, early commits have been common for a while now. Also, it's April 27, not having a commit is not a big deal.

I agree with Stewo. If you wanna bust Cy's balls then take it to the Rivalry forum.

**facepalm**

You do realize there is some sort of rivalry involved right? Smack talk is usually associated and acceptable in many of these circumstances. Live a little.

That's some awesome smack talk about recruiting to a team that beat Iowa last year with "less talent". Good job keep it up. If you want to smack talk due it in the rivalry forum.
