Think it was because he can not join the team for spring ball. Heiar could, thus the offer, while ebert could not, thus no offer.

With all the experience we have coming back on the Line where does he fit in? Is it possible he could redshirt and then we can plug him in next year when we lose Gettis and Zus?

You never know about injuries so i wouldn't say it isnt possible he wont play next year. Remember before the season last year everybody wanted to redshirt coker... now hes the starter

I think he will play and will be competing for a starting OG spot or maybe RT next year.

I thought Kirk didnt like kids to come in during spring ball? Didnt he say that in a press conference a while back that he was against it?

Kirk was referring to HS kids, not JUCOS.
