New Coaching staff is needed

Hayden Fry wouldn't stand for this mediocre football, c'mon coach. You have been better, time for a look inside at yourself and get back to where you started from....otherwise please move on.
 
Sick and ****ing tired of this same garbage we put out on field. What the hell was that high school reverse kickoff return. Who in Gods name are you fooling? After 200 days together ya think KOK might pass the message along to quit locking onto one receiver. Our kids stand no chance when they are coached to be afraid of everything. Kirk would rather start a 5.5 40 running back that won't fumble than give a freshman buck that runs 4.4 in fear of a chance he might fumble. Fire em all!! Every last damn coach and wipe the slate clean.
 
There were years on end when Hayden teams never beat anyone they weren't expected to. And some talented teams that didn't perform.

Td didn't have any recruits coming in because he was fired a year before he had to quit coaching.

Just some perspective.

have you checked on hf's record lately? KF had him beat 10 years in.

please refrain from revisionist history.

funny thing is Fry's 1st Rose Bowl was an Iowa team that was 8-3 with losses to ISU, MN and Illinois. similar to what many are biatching about with this year's team........how many 8-3 teams have been going to the rose bowl lately?
 
As I said in another thread, I have some Husker friends who would gladly trade Pelini for KF, not the rest of the staff, but definitely KF. They are also not real thrilled with the hiring of Kacinsky, but they are happy that Carl Pelini left. I do agree that I think some changes need to be made on the coaching staff, but not the whole staff.

Washington was able to recognize that the need to make some changes after the last couple years. Holt, 2 other defensive coaches out at Washington - College Football - Rivals.com
 
Kirk needs to stay. He's all Iowa. But, We seem to have lost our identity. We used to beat you up. That honor now goes to Wisconsin. They have huge lineman, and keep getting larger. Wis we would do that as well.

They're fools. At least they are getting 10 wins a year out of BP. Oh, that's right, they're Husker fans, and they believe MNC's are their birthright most years.
 
I hope hope that getting someone like Ron Aiken would help. I'm extremely cautious as I type this, but having an African American as a head coach or a coordinator can only improve our recruiting chances. Since Kirk isn't going anywhere, we need to seize this opportunity.
