New coaches I would be okay with.

I have three coaches that come to mind.

Bob Stoops - look this was the guy everyone wanted 15 years ago and I think we still have a lot of interest. Sources indicate that he might not only be a little bored with Oklahoma but the Oklahoma fans might be feeling the same way. So I think this is very viable.

Bo Pelini - Another case here where the fans think they should be doing better than 9 wins. I can see Bo moving to Iowa just to give Nebby fans the flying finger of fait. The up side for Iowa fans is he is a good coach and knows how to recruit the kind of players we used to have. The down side is he is kind of an ***. - I will take the *** if I can get 9 wins.

Bret Bielema - Okay let me spell this out for you... A R K A N S A S. Have you ever been there? because I have.... Your Father is your brother and your mother is also your second cousin. I think Bret just moved there to get away from Barry Alvarez. I think once Bret gets tired of drinking goat milk he will be more than happy to come back to Iowa.

I would expect that you have already contacted Barta and pledged a significant amount of money to go towards KF's buyout, right?

Bo Pelini - Nebraska just gave up over 600 yards to offense to Wyoming.
The last 3 games, the blackskirts have given up over 1,800 yards of offense.
But, it was all Beau Bridges fault.

I think Stoops would come to UIowa in a heartbeat, if given the chance.
Bielema might just want a few years away from the Big Ten.

Stoops. And retain Chris Doyle.

Dude, I initially read that as "retrain Chris Doyle" and just about punched my monitor, but then when I re-read it and noticed it was retain I was like "phew." The Doyle-ization of this team has returned and dudes were downright salty in the game on Saturday. Doyle was the only coach who looked like he did his job this off season.

Thats what all the ads are for on the new boards.

Oh, so you dont want to put up your money where your mouth is?

I would bet that is a recurring theme amongst most of the people here who are constantly ripping on KF.

Will sit here on this message board and pizz and moan all day and that gets them what?

Even though I know you're trolling...I'll bite. If we hired Bo...I would be done with Iowa football games for a while...I don't want that butt-fart anywhere near the Iowa football program. He's a tool.

Most of us "put our money where our mouth is" when we shell out unconscionable ticket prices to pay for that clown Ferentz to constantly lose to Northwestern, Iowa State and MAC teams.

Supply and demand, brah.

GarBar charges what he does because he can.

And I would guess the OP doesnt buy tickets from the ticket office.

Hes one that thinks because he bought a couple t shirts from GDR that he is supporting the University.

Can we add Bill Belichick to the list? He has Iowa ties due to his relationship with KF and BF. Also maybe he feels responsibility for what happened with Aaron Hernandez and will want to come here and mentor DJ.

Head coach: Bill Cowher
OC/QB: Belichick
DC: Gruden
OL: K. Ferentz
WR/TE: Philbin
RB: O'Keefe
DL: Fridge Perry
LB: Ron Rivera
DB: Herm Edwards
ST: Nate Kaeding

LOL, no doubt. And I agree...Doyle is without question, the top performing coach we have.
