Nebraska's Jared Crick out for the year

I actually feel bad for Crick as I think he is a great player. The great news for Nebraska fan is it sets up to be a great excuse for when they fail to win the Big 10 this year.

The Sports Illustrated curse strikes again?

The NFL scout on The Next Level on BTN had dropped Crick out of his top ten list of draft eligible big ten players this week for the first time all year. Millen mentioned on the broadcast vs OSU that Crick does not look like the same player...so it if probably better for him that he was actually injured to explain his poor play...now he can heal up and be ready for the combine, and be the first round pick that everyone had projected him to be...tough break tho.

They could very well run the table from here on out.

Sorry but I don't buy that for a second. Especially since they've still got both Michigan schools on the schedule. I wouldn't be suprised if they find a way to drop 2 or 3 more along the way.

Have to see which Husker offense shows up; but they definitely have defensive issues. They would have been sunk if fOSU hadn't choked.

Absolutely agree, but I'm not convinced that it was so much the offense showing up as it was OSU going away from their game plan. I honestly have yet to see anything out of Nebraska that truly has me believing that they belong even amongst the top two teams in the division at this point.

I also believe that if Braxton Miller doesn't get hurt that OSU wins that game.

Tough for a senior who came back. I told a husker fan about it earlier and he said, "good, he sucked anyway"..crazy huskers.

How many teams in a BCS conference can beat another team at their place when the 2nd team QB goes down and the 3rd team QB come in? Unless the game was already decided I would guess very few.

I've heard plenty of this, too. He certainly wasn't right this year, but he still was the best we got. Anyone who says this is stupid, we need all the help we can get.

If we don't make it to the CCG, it wasn't because we lost Crick, it's because we weren't good enough to get there.
