Nebraska May Have a QB Depth Issue Brewing

The piling on of Nebraska, while fun, is starting to make me a little nervous. I'll read and enjoy, but I'm pulling off the pile.
 
Man, many of them are absolutely tearing the kid up. Those fans have to be some of the worse at throwing people under the bus. Players, coaches, ad, all's fair for them.

Also saw that Brandon Dawkins, after being beaten out by Peyton Ramsey, is leaving Indiana. That leaves them "thin" at QB, as well.

While it sucks when a Wiegers or Boyle leaves, it sucks worse for places where they have a guy that leaves on the eve of the season opener.

A grad transfer and a QB brought in for a different system. With the new transfer rules it actually makes complete sense.

That may be. But...if that's the case, why did they wait until the 11th hour? Then again, why did coach(es) wait until then to name a starter, too...

Except that (reading Huskerboard) pretty much none of this is going on (granted, I only read the first 250 or so posts). I've read zero posts on that message board attacking the guy.

Sure, a few members have questioned Gebbia's heart and dedication, but it's almost unanimous that the feelings towards him are disappointment that he's leaving, yet we're all wishing him good luck where ever he ends up.

I continue to be surprised at the lies Hawk fans make up about us west of the Missouri, but I really shouldn't.

I have seen this all over. Huskermax keeps shutting down threads because of it.

Again the overwhelming majority are disappointed in his decision, yet wish the kid good luck.

Better to just admit you got some shitty fans, but proclaim that they are not the majority. At least that would be a sensible debate.
