I have now watched two Illini games and I can' tell if Love Smith actually does anything on the sideline but each game had an early targeting penalty and slow defensive meltdown.

He actually threw three passes that should have been intercepted. Illinois defenders just dropped them. Trust me this guy, when pressured, plays hot potato, and just gets it off. He made a few absolutely terrible decisions...and just happened to get away with it. That being said...Illinois is just really bad.
