just killed me in the suicide pool, but it was a sacrifice worth dying for as Iowa will move up. :)
 
Just great...beat Rutgers, rest for a week, and then they will have even more to play for against the Hawks. Damnit.
 
That can be two fold as it will increase Iowa's strength of schedule. I was leary of picking MSU and thought about using Iowa in the suicide pool this week.
 
We will have a LB on Westerkamp when he's in the slot, Safeties are going to need to play well.

Sigh......I give up trying to explain why it was better for MSU to win. If you can't figure out why, then God help you.
 
Tommy isnt a consistent QB. He is either on or off. I think if we can pressure him we can make him make mistakes. Especially with the #1 defensive player in the backfield.

As long as Ohio State and Iowa are undefeated in the championship game then it doesn't matter. If we are undefeated and play a one loss MSU team in the championship game then you are right, but I don't think that is going to happen.
 
Better to eliminate all doubt...I remember a couple years ago going into the last 2 weeks of the NFL season, the Chargers needed about 10 things to all happen to make the playoffs....and they all did. I trust nobody to take care of business.
 
I think the other way. We win the next two weeks we lock up the West, so we possibly go into Lincoln looking ahead. If we get clipped by a 4 win team, were toast for the cfp. If we lose a squeaker to a 6 win team that beat two top 10 teams and we were on a short week and then beat OSU we got a shot still.

The real solution is don't lose but if we do we want little red riding high when we do.

But, we won't lose. MSU has a terrible defense and secondary. We have Desmond King and excellent LBs.

I agree with this. I think MSU was doing "just enough" to win whereas I see an Iowa team that is so hungry its incredible. One game at a time, next up is the goofs and their horrific clock management.
 
I agree with your point and wouldn't have thought MSU was going to lose or I wouldn't have picked them in the suicide pool. I was saving undefeated IOWA for a later game in the suicide pool. The guys that are left in that pool are running out of options as was I.
 
The SEC is suspect with Alabama whooping up on LSU and with the team that beat Alabama having two losses now. LSU was clearly over ranked.
