Well, since I lived in Nebraska for quite a while, I know the fan bases pretty well. And the reason your basketball arena sits empty in the winter is because most of those fans are in Omaha at the Q cheering on their winter team, the Bluejays. You can call me ignorant, really doesn't bug me. Because I'm right.
And no, Iowa isn't NY, Chicago etc. etc. but at least we have multiple teams in multiple sports that are relevant from September through March. Yes, you have gymnastics and women's volleyball. Good job outa you.

Northwestern gave up 45
Penn State gave up 37
MSU gave up 49
Meetchicken gave up 52.
Not impressed.
At least you all, Wisconsin, and Illinois were able to hold your opponents to less than 30.
How many times have you been beat up by ISU fans at a bar? Over half your posts have to throw a dig at ISU, and it reeks of overcompensation. Bet it helps you get the chicks,though, right?

Lived there, been to several games there, moved to Iowa, would much rather be in IC on game day than Lincoln. Don't care if I ever go back to Lincoln to a game. Not fun at all. So many obnoxious fans it really dampens the experience.

Doubt it. Like I said the only other fan bases that I have ever heard say this are Iowa and ISU, wonder why? lol. Even Texass fans say that they were treated well in Lincoln, so chances are if people were obnoxious to you, it was because you brought it on yourself. Been there multiple times, and I've never seen an opposing fan get treated rudely. Maybe some friendly ribbing, but nothing bad. We check our own, if we were to see this, we wouldn't go all Big 10 on someone.
Funny thing, I've heard that pretty much all Big 10 school are very inhospitable to rival fans, PSU, Ohio St, and Iowa being the worst.

Baylor got embarrassed and your #12 team got beat by a team down to it's 4th string RB from the pre-season and without it's leading WR.
Awesome Big 12 effort there against the Big Ten.. The SEC did the damage, don't act like the Big 12 did anything but flail against the Big Ten..

Really, because I heard that Delany wanted to make it as tough as possible on Nebraska next year, so he stacked the schedule the way he did. He said that there was no way that we would pull off what PSU did back in 94. Sounds a little worried to me.

Maybe (obviously) you misunderstood the entire discussion. The person that I responded to said that "We play defense it the Big 10" to which I simply posted some of the "impressive" defensive stats that Big 10 teams have put up in their respective bowl games. I really don't care what the other Big 12 teams have done it their bowls, just pointing out the facts.

I take exception to this, sir. I'm not looking to stir the pot, I have simply disputed some of the lies, innuendo, and assumptions (and there are quiet a few) against Nebraska that I have witnessed on this board.
If I were trolling, I would have come in here and started a topic that went like this: Gee, even with DKR (or DJK, or whatever his intials are) supplying half of your team with steriods, you still lost 5 games this year. You must really suck to have to cheat that much, and still lose 5 games, yadda, yadda, yadda.......
But I have not. I leave that up to ignorant and uneducated "football fans." You just happen to have a few on Hawkeyenation.

You may have enjoyed IC more (you're a Hawk fan, I get that) but I've been to plenty of games in Lincoln, and I personally have never seen an opposing fan treated poorly. Like I said, maybe a little friendly banter or kidding around, but if you are decent to Husker fans and you make friends, they will likely invite you to their tailgate party. If you act like an a-hole, you'll probably get what you deserve.
If by "obnoxious" you mean a bunch of Husker fans walking around downtown Lincoln yelling, "Go Big Red!" on game day, then yeah, I guess we're obnoxious. Or your skin is too thin and you had no business being there anyway.
