When the AD has to make a statement after a loss you know the Big Red is imploding. He needs to calm down his fan base. Hey Nebraska Fan Base...you haven't been elite for years...why act like you are outraged now that you lose to inferior teams. Where was the outrage when Wisconsin scored 70 on you? Or Iowa beat you senseless last year.

In Nebby's defense they're much more talented than NIU. Maybe if we keep hearing that it'll take some of the sting out. Wait no it wouldn't. Hopefully the table is set for an incredible Big Red meltdown filled with more butthurt and poor performances as the season progresses.

Not surprising. Huskers haven't looked good all year. BTN built them up like they were going to be number 2 in the West and they are looking like they will finish in the lower half. Another example of the BTN crew not really looking objectively at certain favored teams.
Their coach built up their QB like he stepped in and was going to take the B1G by storm and he is a big part of their problems. Deace voiced his doubts on this kid before the season started.

Their OL is a mess. I think they are going to be in trouble. I'm hoping for a meltdown too, but do we really want softy Mike Smiley to get fired?
