Neb LB out for season, 3rd starter on D this week

Michael Rose starting LB for Huskers injured his knee. Lost 2 DBs earlier this week. Tough break for those players, well one was a suspension I guess
 
Feel bad for the players... But it couldn't happen to a bigger bunch of as shats as far as their fans are concerned
 
One of them was a mystery suspension. There not going to tell anybody what he did. I bet it didn't have anything to do with a scooter. LoL
 
I feel very sorry for any athletes that get hurt. Some of these kids may have aspirations of playing in the NFL one day but many are using it as an opportunity to get a scholarship so the can get through college and have a decent life one day. I hope they all fully recover. I wish them all the very best. I hope we spank the huskers when we play them.

The lost of just a few players can affect a season. Prior to the 85 scholarship limit it didn't have much affect on Nebraska or Michigan or some prominently mentioned colleges. They usually had ample backups to cover up an injury. In today's world very few colleges can lose as many players as Nebraska has on defense and not be left critically thin. Look for them to move some offensive players over to defense.
 
So far so good through the first week. Nobody has even gotten nicked up let alone seriously injured so far for the Hawks. Gotta take this a practice at a time. Iowa's Oline depth scares me the most. Losing Rudock, Alston or Weisman wouldn't scare me nearly as much as losing Scherff would.

They will tell you they are basically okay. They admit they can't afford to lose any more, but say it's good the injuries happened so early so the backups will have plenty of time to step it up.
 
I believe it was qb Tommy A. That got knocked out cold at practice a couple days ago. They certainly are having a few troubles.
