ND QB Everett Goldson Might Transfer to Michigan

Could you imagine Jake coming back with his tail between his legs, then after Ferentz "opens up" the qb competition this Aug, he picks Jake as the starter and we wind up with a 100% status quo from last year (other than Brian Ferentz's big pay raise and bringing in the 13th best recruiting class in the Big 10).

Just because you don't like the job KF has done doesn't mean you have to come up with stupid scenarios to post that would never happen. When you pose a question of something that will never happen, the coach isn't more of an idiot because you posed it. He isn't an idiot for contemplating it, because he never did. You are trying to make him look bad by hypothesizing that he would consider it.

Epic fail!

I would assume he is. Harbaugh was saying something to the affect that regardless of whether Rudock starts it'll be a good year for him academically.

Seems like there is a lot of confusion on how medical school works on this board. I have no clue except what i see on TV medical dramas.:)

Jake has not applied to medical school or even taken the MCAT. No, he was not even biology major, he was "interdisciplinary studies major." At Michigan, he is enrolling in a Masters degree program in kinesiology. Zero of the credits will transfer toward medical school next year. Nor is he even a lock to get into medical school. Did anyone notice that while we did have several academic All-American's, Jake was not one

Just Because the coach has a crush on him doesn't make him brilliant.

Did Harbaugh only take JR in at UM just to get inside KF's head? Harbaugh is a master of these kinds of mind games, especially during his time at Stanford. Supposedly he gets other coaches upset and they make bad calls during games or something. One of the Harbaugh things.

Wouldn't it be poetic justice if Harbaugh convinces Everett Goldson to transfer to Michigan? Jake committed to Iowa solely because Ferentz promised him the starting job. Jake started for two years despite never being the best QB on the team. Finally, when Ferentz has no choice but to bench Jake due to his horrible performance and the fact that fans and coaches and tv announcers all know that CJ is unquestionably the top QB on the team, Jake tucks his tail and quits on the team in favor of a school that has no QB. He did so thinking he was guaranteed the QB spot. A last minute transfer of Everett Goldson would make Jake at best the 3rd most talented QB on Michigan's roster and there would be no way he would be handed over the starting role all season. If Goldson transfers, look for Jake to quietly quit football and hope some medical would have him this late in the game (which they would not, as applications were due months ago).

Really? KF "promised" Jake he would start if he came to Iowa? He obviously lied, Jake sat behind JVB...

Harbaugh doesn't need to get in Ferentz's head for him to make bad calls. KF makes enough bad calls on his own.

No. Iowa doesn't play Michigan this year, and I don't think Jim has to worry about seeing Iowa in the BIG Title game this year.

I doubt it. KFz is far down the list of people on Harbaugh's radar. He's done
