I think this team's absolute B1G ceiling is 13 wins. That would require 3 wins out of Indiana, Michigan State, Minnesota, and Illinois (they aren't beating Michigan or Ohio State on the road). Then they'd have to sweep the 10 games against the other bottom 6 teams.
10-11 wins is more doable.

The next 2 opponents are by far the easiet 2 teams they play all year. If they don't win Wednesday night AND Saturday afternoon, they will maybe go 4-14 in conference if their lucky.
Do you think 21-22 will be enough to get them into the NCAA tourney? 22 seams like a pretty solid number if they pull off a couple nice wins against the ranked teams.

22 wins would be an 11-7 B1G record. Win 1 game in the B1G tourney and you have a team with a 23-10 record. That team would more than likely get a 6 or 7 seed in the dance.

Why do we have to talk about this after every game? Its still so early in the year, and we have no idea how the conference schedule will go. We can revisit this in February.

By your logic VT should have made the tourney a bunch of years.
In conference you can't lose by 20 or more to bottom dwellers of the league like they did repeatedly and say, but, but, we beat Duke..
