NCAA Tournament is great, but ....

I really wish they would do two things:

• Go back to having the normal floor of each different site instead of these generic black bordered courts with the host city name on it. It helps people remember where the great games were played and adds to the mystique. I would bet most people on here can remember where Princeton beat UCLA or where Duke beat Kentucky. But can anyone really remember where teams played the last couple years with all these generic courts? Also, I would think there would be some cost savings there.

• Let's get rid of this play in or opening round game. Its not fair to the teams playing asone of them doesnt get to experience a real first round site and its hoopla. Besides, no one gives a crap about this game.

What other things would you like to see changed? Probably not too many as it is the greatest sporting event in the world.

I know that I am going to get lambasted for this one, but...........not have Jennifer Hudson sing "One Shining Moment." Why ruin a good thing? I think the reason a majority of Iowa fans hate it is that we never have gone that deep in the tournament and are thus noticeably absent. My KU friends absolutely love "One Shining Moment" as a part of the tournament.

I can't agree more... but I'm afraid that is proabably what is going to happen... its all about the $$$
