Spencer Lee, Pat Lugo, and Alex Marinelli are all #1 seeds. All 10 Iowa wrestlers got a bid. 9 were automatic,and 1 was at large. The NCAA Championships will take place in Minneapolis on March 19-21.

That’s true, it’s very disappointing news.

It particularly hurts Iowa given the close proximity. We basically would have had a home court advantage, that's now been wiped out.

I still like our chances but a roaring crowd probably would have been worth at least 20 team points.

Any word one way or another if the wrestling NCAA tourney is still on? With all the other cancellations and disappointments I just really hope the Hawks will still have a chance at that wrestling NCAA title

It's cancelled,and that's very disappointing with Iowa being the heavy favorite to win. I think that there should be a way that Iowa is voted or is named the default national champion.

I was thinking the same thing .. for all NCAA sports that the regular season ended, and before the big dance. A mythical championship is better than none ... Football had Champs without any tourney for decades.
