NCAA Session I Thread?

If you weren't noticing not many of the wrestlers looked good this morning. That's pretty typical in the first session.

I got news for ya man, we were boned before Bobby went down. With the exception if Ramos we didn't really look good at all this morning. It's sad as we've been waiting for DM to host for so long and it was basically over before it started.

Nah, we had a decent shot. PSU only advanced 6 on the champ side. But without Bobby, we're probably losing 12-17 points. I'm not sure we can overcome that.

That's right 3 National Championships in 7 years, 2 3rd place finishes, and and 8th place really upsets me too...

When you are a school that puts as much resources into a small niche sport as Iowa puts into wrestling, you don't settle for runner-up status. He had a nice thing going with the guys he brought with him from VT and the guys he inherited, but it has gone in the wrong direction since those guys graduated.

He doesn't have to win, but ending up out of the medals completely should lead to a talking to from Barta.
