NCAA says Boise State Broke Rules

That is the tip of the Iceberg. That program has brought in athletes that other programs knew could not make it in the classroom, but somehow, miraculously, they stayed eligible in Boise. Why do you think good teams abandoned the MWC when the conference agreed to take Boise?

Because they got invited to BCS conferences? The Boise St football violations are extremely minor here, letting recruits sleep on players couches and not pay for it, the total benefits they were given were worth less than $5000 and spread between 60 some players. This was not an OSU like level of benefits.

The lack of institutional control charge is due to their women's tennis program which went completely rogue and was using a player who was no longer attending Boise St. That is a major violation, the football stuff is not the tip of iceberg.

Seriously dude, as people start looking closer at this program, you will see this is just the beginning. They have had the benefit of operating with virtually no oversight in a compliance weak conference. Now that people are taking a closer look things will change quickly. That is what I mean by the tip of the iceberg.
