What places score points?

[Top 8 place winners score placement points for the team (1st place gets 16 points with scores falling down to 3 points for 8th place). Note that any wrestler can score points via simply winning a match (called advancement points) and for scoring bonus points (for pins, tech falls, or major decisions). How many places do we need to win it do you think?

[No way to answer this really. Basically, if Iowa wins, we need to have an outstanding tournament and hope PSU go sideways a bit. PSU has a couple studs that roll up bonus points at an amazing clip and that are lead pipe locks to win titles or place extremely high (barring injuries). Iowa has 4 guys that somewhat reasonably could win titles. The chances of all four wrestling to that level at the same time is virtually nil though, and there's a decent a couple of them crap out and don't even place. Iowa's best reasonable hope is to get contributions from everyone on the team, win a couple individual titles, and hope PSU underperforms. We have a punchers chance, but that's it.]
