I'm assuming it was half a game for each hooker?Suspended for 5 games for his use of hookers in recruiting.

That depends...Half a game is a long time with a hooker.
Why haven't the majority of schools held the NCAA accountable? This punishment seems way too light to me. Sure, they might lose their 2013 national title, but the basketball program was paying hookers to use sex as a tool to recruit. Whether they officially have the 2013 title or not doesn't matter, those days are in the past, the fans celebrated it and lived through it. Everyone will still consider Louisville the 2013 national champs regardless. I don't really see anything that would be learned by any of this punishment.
Also, how is it the NCAA is quick to punish some schools, but the UNC fake classes scandal has still gone unpunished?

Because if they did, their dirty laundry would com out.Why haven't the majority of schools held the NCAA accountable?
Mean while North Carolina sits back and laughs knowing they'll never be punished.
Both should be punished. Only an idiot would argue that not punishing one guilty party means you shouldn't punish another guilty party. With your logic skills I hope you don't vote.
UNC involved 3k to 5k students/student athletes cheating over 18 years. I think their penalties should be a little stiffer than Louisville's.In my opinion, this is just a case of a blue blood program with a HoF coach getting the benefit of the doubt. The NCAA should vacate ALL games from 2012-13, meaning the NCAA Championship.
IMHO, Pitino should be suspended for a year and ALL his recruiting should be limited to on campus only for a minimum of 2 years. Same goes for Williams and North Carolina.
Just my 2¢ .. .. GO HAWKS!!!
Well technically they haven't proven Rick knew anything about this he's played dumb. So of course we all know he knew and is lying but there's no direct tie in to prove it... As far as I can tell if this is the slap on the wrist for it. Just one game per season it was going on then every school out there doing it has no reason to stop and everyone else has a reason to start... What a crock. Forget the moral side of it all as bad as that is for a second. It's also a financial one. Thousands of dollars is being spent on this. Maybe not as much as what was spent on Reggie Bushs folks but still thousands of dollars.Pearl got fired and a show cause for having a BBQ. Sure he lied, but so did Slick Rick, Bruce just admitted it.
That's all it is... Nothing else makes sense. I mean why punish them at all if 5 games is the slap on the wrist. So what if a banner comes down. Nobody cares about wins being vacated. Recruits choosing where they go sure don't. Coaches will pretend to care but as long as they can keep cashing their big checks they don't either. This is the NCAA trying to sweep this under the rug. To me it doesn't matter if Pitino knew or not he should have known. He probably did know he was just smart enough to distance himself from it enough to not be able to prove it. But him being apart of it or not to me is irrelevant the book should have been thrown at himIn my opinion, this is just a case of a blue blood program with a HoF coach getting the benefit of the doubt.
