Well, maybe you get better by wrestling an opponent that has lost to a few d3 schools this year in a meet where anything but a pin at every weight is considered a loss. Besides after Midlands we're pretty comfortable right now.

Speculation is that Brands isn't real happy about the way the tournament is run. Although, Dan Gable has gone on the record asking people to show up and support the tournament even though the Hawks aren't wrestling in it. Who knows? Not me.

Well, I was against his decision to not go. However, there's a reason why he's the best coach in the nation; this is basically our team in a nutshell right now. I think Midlands proved this, with maybe the exception of McD. He seems to be the type to use losses as motivation; kind of hard to know since he doesn't do it very often.
