I'm not sure why it took so long to determine the last regional host. Maybe Iowa will host the finals!

You can't just snub the tournament the previous year and then expect to host the next year. Iowa will not be hosting anything this year.

Is there a rift developing between Iowa and the NWCA? Missing the Duals last year, now this.

Considering Iowa is #1 in attendance I highly doubt this is the case. Like another said, Iowa might be hosting the finals.

Unless admin changes their tune Iowa will not be hosting the finals either. For whatever reason they do not want to open up CHA. It is driving the coaching staff nuts.

USAF - what are the concerns driving admin's reluctance to host this event? Maybe there's a bigger picture that I'm missing, but it seems like a no brainer to host this event.

I really do not know exactly why they are reluctant to open CHA, I am sure they have valid reasons. I have inquired about using the CHA facilities to host wrestling events and haven't had any luck.

And that matters more than winning, fair or not.
