Nate's line was not a loser line. 66%, 1 TD 0 INTs

Stanely had a better game. But his timing was off to open receievers or he just miss them entirely. The defense had its first bad game, and i think most of that was gameplan and scheme. Two point conversion and refs hurt some too.

This game wasn’t on him solely. We didn’t have an answer defensively. That said, he’s not a difference maker, which is a necessary component of an elite team.

^ Yeah, Purdue picked on a walk-on freshman corner. It's almost like they adapted to the situation or something.

Nate also has a bad habit of hanging on to the ball too long instead of getting the pass to the wide open receiver sooner.

So instead of the receiver being able to turn upfield he just has to run out of bounds because the pass is so late, he is so close to the sideline, and that is where his momentum is taking him.
Happened with TJ a couple of times.

So stats can be misleading. Really poor quarterbacking. Why? at this stage in his career?

QB is the most important position on any team.
Iowa treats it like it is just another offensive guard.
And coaches the position up like it too.
