Name one former Hawk...

1. Greene- See all of the above reasons

2. Sanders- He was my favorite Hawk of all-time!

3. Dwight- 'nuff said

4. Gallery- Loved his mean streak, and leadership, in college!

5. Tom Knight- Love Prater, but put that guy opposite of Spievey, and nobody throws the ball to either sideline.

1. Chuck Long-great accuracy
2. Matt Roth-dominated
3. Timmy D.-no explaination needed
4. Shonn Greene-consistant
5. Ronnie Harmon-playmaker

Robert Gallery would be an excellent choice as well.

I love Long. Hartlieb, and Rogers for QB in this offense, but Ricky is doing just fine. With a stable backfield, I think the yards would be more open for the taking in the passing game.

What??? No love for Eddie Podolak???

Wow.
Ed played way back in the 1960s, I think Forest Evashevski (sp?) was the coach, and many of us on this board were not alive when he wore the black and gold, or the red and white of the KC Chiefs either.

that would complete this team and help us to a national title. (Please keep in mind this is just for fun. I love the team as is and have big dreams for the Hawks.)

My pick? You don't have to go back very far in Hawkeye history...

Shonn Greene

No team could stop him. He guaranteed us tough running and 100 yards every game.

Ronnie Harmon. Run the ball, catches out of the back field. Without the 40k in fumble cash of course.
