King isn't in the same league as Peppers, come on.. Also, there is more to playing receiver than straight line speed. You actually have to be able to run a route, get in and out of your breaks, etc. King is not a receiver. King will play safety if he makes it in the NFL.

Agreed. King is damned good, but he's not an elite athlete like Peppers. Not to mention we need him much more on defense, as last week shows that the next CB's in still have some work to do.

He doesn't have to win gold medals. Instinct is what sets him apart. Just like speed, you can't teach it. Watch his returns. He may not be the fastest guy, but he can break ankles and see where daylight exists. And when he feels the ball is up for grabs, that's when his competitiveness elevates his play to the next level.
