My wish list...

I want to see a Hawkeye team that shows up to every game with an edge. Like it is a privilege to get to play D1 football. I want to see coaches who give it all and aren't afraid to show some emotion. Don't give me this static that they do get fired up. I sat at the Nebraska game and have seen all home games, and our coaches are never fired up or get into it with the players. Teams take on the personality of their coach...I love Kirk...but emotionless football will not cut it. If he can't do it surround himself with guys who can! I see every other team and coaches jumping up and down showing emotion and playing with FIRE. WE DO NOT!:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

You're asking too much. You're just going to get Ferentz in your stocking.

Our coaches and players want to win just as much as everyone else. To think otherwise is crazy.

This frustration makes as much sense as the salary complaint, baseless.

I don't question the will , but you're drinking koolaid if you aren't questioning the way.

I played in college...these players are not playing with full emotion...NO WAY. Of course they want to win...there is a difference between wanting and doing.

I agree that there is something missing with the attitude of this program. Remember back to the year of "Break the Rock" or when we had the mindset that we will wear down an opponent over 3 quarters and in the 4th quarter we would take over the game? We have not seen that attitude for the last 4 or 5 seasons.

Something definitely needs to change but I have my doubts that it will.

I believe they all want to win. Why else would you be coaching or playing. But for some reason they just seem to business like and don't show an outword passion.
