Kirk, please feel free to borrow this as needed. Probably good for one time only.

THat is a good one. By rule I think you have to be lined up or huddled up between the yardage numbers like this player was.

You can always change the play if the opponent covers it.

Hate to say it, but much easier to picture us falling for it than successfully executing it.

Onside kicks....unsportsmanlike like move that should never happen...ruins the purity of the game.

The sad thing about this type of play is it would happen right in front of the good old Captain and he wouldn't even notice it....Too busy chewing gum and writing notes in his notepad....

I'd prefer we excute properly as the receiving team. Worry about executing them AFTER we get the nitty-gritty down on the receiving side.

I never understood why they don't onside it up the middle & have both sides of the kickoff line converge at an angle to the middle with some of the players role as road graders & the others (hands) as ball coverage. Of course, you would need a couple back to tackle in case it was recovered & returned. You also take the out-of-bounds out of play up the middle. It would be about 8 or 9 guys converging on about 3-4 and I think up the middle could increase the odds of recovering it. Never understood why that wasn't done like that.

I was hoping Ferentz had the kahoomas to call an onside kick when they kicked off at the 50 after Indiana's 15Yrd penalty. Unfortunately, the thought of onsiders gives KF the bajeebers.

Oh yeah, I guess some Fans think KF should have recovered that onside kick himself.

Eyes roll repeat.
