My brother was at the game....

He was sitting near Powell's parents and they were very upset about how the offense was being run and their son not getting the ball. Lots of upset people in the crowd too about CJ not playing and yes he was able to go.

He also said there were plenty of guys open downfield but Rudock didn't even look their way and dumped passes off. The safety's were playing up all day and dared Iowa to throw deep but they didn't.

Said the fans were really into it all game but there were a lot of unhappy people during the game as well.

All parents get upset when their kid doesn't get the ball. Nothing new here. I'd expect Receivers an receivers parents to be the worst.

Rudock knows his limits and he won't be able to complete a medium/long throw unless it's a primary wr and unless the wr is wide open. Open for Rudock and open for CJ are not the same thing.

CJ's arm can throw receivers open. Rudock hasn't shown that he can.

Damn, I sure wish KF would learn those limits.

Iowa did not target Damond Powell and got upset by the Clowns.

Today, did Damond get the ball at all? How is it possible that our most
EXPLOSIVE player, BY FAR, does not touch the ball?
Greg Davis needs to answer that question...........holy ****!

He ended up with 3 catches but none came until the 4th quarter. I don't think he was even targeted until then.

I can't remember for sure, but I think we did not even target a WR until the 3rd quarter. If that is accurate, that is freaking unbelievable.

The only way to show your displeasure is to stop going to games. Don't give your tickets away or sell them. Burn them in your front yard and then enjoy your weekends with your kids. A 1/2 empty stadium is the only way to show your tired of this staff and their decisions.

I'm pretty sure that's correct. Smith was the first WR to catch a pass in the 3rd and before that everything went to the TE's and Bullock.

What sucks is that we won't be get getting good WRs in the future because top notch players want the ball. Ferentz ball sucks.

Everytime the camera showed the field I could see receivers open. Wide receivers gotta be tired of running routes for no good reason. We might as well use them to block for check downs and run plays. We are wasting our talent and the promise this season could hold.

That might be true but that deos not change the fact that in the case the parents are absolutely right.

Podalak was saying that during the game as well..

The same thing was happening at the Iowa State game. Jake doesn't seem to have the confidence to go long and the DBs know it.
