Jesus never mind. I lay out several reasons it is good for the program AND could even be good for the wrestling program. I then thought if we had some fans out here, why could we not put something together for other visiting fans if the hawks did a home and away. Maybe your right, why play a home and away where you are getting student athletes? Why up the strength of schedule? Why play where you have fans and where fans would travel to? Jesus then we wonder why the program is what it is.
Obviously I was either to drunk or many of you are to stupid to figure that out. What a dream, huh. Tied to Isu and that is that.

I think olddude is trying to say rather than play ISU every year, which does nothing to help our recruiting, we should set up a series with Colorado and/or Wyoming. The rationale being by playing at Colorado it would help bolster our recruiting in the Mountain Zone.
Last I checked Colorado wasn't a hotbed for football or wrestling talent. I'd rather see those games go to our new conference brethren in Maryland and New Jersey. There's an area where our regular presence could help recruiting.

I have a hunch it will sit still. But you still need a lot of soap and a lot of time.
Whoops, just looked again, this year (last class), 23. Iowa had 8. Interesting that wv had 3.
I would guess none of those 8 give a rats butt about the isu game.
I also know of those 23, i would bet, atleast 20 of them live within 2 hrs of denver. I would guess our wr coach was building relationships in co while he was here.
More important we are leveraging that game slot.

OldDude is becoming one of my favorite posters. What are we talking about again? All I got out of this was weed, beer, and drunk.
^^^my mother was a great teacher, she would try and help you find the answer and not just give it. Otherwise it is just one person voicing their opinion. She said people learn more that way.

Point two, get rid of the away isu game and use leverage. Where your recruiting, fan base in said area and if you have a staff member who recently coached in said area. Those are all leverage points.

Also one last point, my mother told my wife, how you deal with olddude is to let 90% of it go in one ear and out the other, but pay enough attention to get the other 10%, because the kid is pretty smart.
