My 5 Year Old= Some Hawkeye Fans

I mean seriously, I swear my 5 year old reminds me of so many Hawkeye fans on this board.

Just the other night, he wanted ice cream for dinner. We said "no" and he spent the next hour rolling on the floor, yelling, screaming, crying and making a huge deal because he didn't get his way.

Same thing with so many of you (and you know who you are). You, like the rest of us had a favorite choice and now when you don't get your way, you're going to spend your time acting like my 5 year old who didn't get his ice cream.

Give me a freakin' break! I bet almost all of you have NEVER seen Siena even play. You certainly have NEVER met the man, so you have ZERO idea what you are talking about.

It's time to grow up and support our new coach!

I agree completely. It's done. He IS our coach now. Barta can't/won't change his mind now, especially due to internet tantrums.

It goes without saying that everybody absolutely has the right to voice their opinions. We all have that right as Americans, but after you've had your say, nothing constructive will be accomplished by continually being negative and deciding to not support the hire.

My gut feeling is that by the time the first game tips off in November, Coach McCaffrey will have the full support of the vast majority of Iowa fans and there will be some genuine excitement about the coming season.

If my kid would have ever done that he would have had his *ss beat. You should be ashamed of yourself for raising such a brat. Too bad for the teachers that kid is gonna have.

PJ....I appreciate that...very funny! I was only using that to illustrate a point (which I'm sure you figured out). FYI...my kids are doing quite well and and they're excited about the new coach!
 




Most fans aren't "throwing tantrums"....this is merely a place to converse....and yes, everyone is entitled to an opinion....which is generally the idea of a message board. To express opinions....
