MVC Runners Up

I didn't see much that impressed me from the panthers or the shockers. I predict both will be exposed by an early exit from the tourney.
 


That loss at Evansville is looking so much better now that Iowa had to play OT to win at Penn State. :rolleyes:

Congrats on the RPI increase. SOS went up too...impressive....all the way up to 137.

Do a lot of teams with a 27-3 record concern themselves with RPI rankings, seems like it really wouldn't be a big deal.

There's a decent chance we might lose to Indiana, if we do, I'm sure we'll see a ton of Flarefux.

Again, I hope UNI finishes strong. Great to see them have a great year.
 


I also want them to do well. It's great for the state and will be fun to watch several Iowa kids get the chance to compete at the highest collegiate level in a couple of weeks. I'm not going to let Fairfax's little jabs at the Hawks stop me from also rooting for the Panthers.

Nobody noticed, especially not the committee. Wanna place a bet on that #3 seed you claimed UNI will be getting?

I wouldn't mind UNI doing good, but when I think of guys like Fairfax it makes me feel good when they lose. Wisconsin seems like a pretty good team, but when I think of some of the trolls coming on these boards from Wisconsin it makes me feel better when they lose too. I suppose if Iowa loses to Indiana Fairfax and a lot of other people wouldn't be very disappointed in the outcome. It makes me wonder what kind of charge they get out of coming on these boards. UNI doesn't have their own board though.

Roger this. Prior to playing Witchita St., the average RPI of the Panthers preceding opponents was 170. Throuw them in the Big 12, Big 10, ACC, ets., bet they slightly above .500 if that. Shows what a complete joke those ranking numbers are. They still a good team. I still root for them. But do find some comfort seeing Fairfax apparently curled in a ball on the floor sucking his thumb somewhere, since he not showing up here anymore, which is kind of nice.

I hope you aren't really an eye doctor like your name suggests. You must not have seen them. Look at the posts around 39 and below not only to see that I certainly am not curled in a ball but there is also some great insight.
 


Ever since Iowa's last game in Cedar Falls where they were completely screwed over by officiating I hope UNI loses every game they play, which is exactly how I feel about Iowa State.

Well, he's on the floor sucking on something. Hey uniguy how are the back to back losses for ISU feeling. It's tough when both your teams suck. I see AW in about every mock draft. Haven't seen puddle yet.
