Loss of momentum after the PAT was missed? I don't think so. It was a bummer, but we were FINALLY IN the game, at that point. We had hope. We had a chance. Defense should have held AZ from another TD and then we could have gotten back down for our own FG OR TD. So...if we had gotten the PAT, the score was still going to be 34-28 without defense taking care of their business and we still lose.
I think having a good kicker is very important to a team and they can make or break a game sometimes. I believe LSU's kicker scored their first 12 points yesterday before the rest of their team started doing their part. To pin this loss on Mossbrucker...that's just idiotic.
